A perennial favorite, Honig’s Cabernet Sauvignon is full of rich and bold flavors. Aromas of bright blackberry, red plum, and raspberry fruit with notes of cranberry are prevalent, while hints of black tea and coriander develop over time. Luscious and balanced, the 18 months this wine spent aging in oak barrels is evident in a delicate dusting of clove and cardamom on its finish. This wine manages to walk the fine line of being both deep and dark, but also full of bright fruits and tight tannins. We recommend decanting for at least 30 minutes before enjoying with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or a hearty tomato based pasta.
