The Casas de Mar is a traditional blend of xarello, parellada and macabeoåÊgrapes, with the xarello vines being over 75 years old. åÊThe older vines, along with careful winemaking, deliver a remarkably complex Cava. It is produced in the Methode Traditionelle — the French Champagne Method: 18 months on the cork during the second fermentation in bottle and finished with a moderate dosage.
The nose has aromas of toasted brioche, and its small, elegant bubbles bring hints of apples and apricots to the palate, finishing with bright notes of citrus.
